R2C Summer 2017 Quarterly Webinar - “Real Talk with Former Defenders: Continuing to Champion the Right to Counsel in Alternative Justice System Roles”

The Right to Counsel National Campaign invites you to tune into our upcoming quarterly webinar on June 13th from 1:00-2:30 EST. For this webinar, we will launch a new series entitled “Real Talk.” This inaugural segment will focus on former public defenders who have gone on to act as champions of the right to counsel in different capacities within the justice system. Moderated by Genevieve Citrin Ray, Project Director of the Right to Counsel National Campaign, the segment will feature Seema Gajwani, Special Counsel for Juvenile Justice Reform at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia; Judge Betty Moore of Shelby County, TN and Zoë Root, Senior Policy Counsel at the Justice Programs Office at American University.
